As the school year is coming to an end, I have received acceptances from University of Toronto, Ryerson University, and University of Waterloo. I am glad to announce that I have accepted and will be attending the University of Waterloo for the Biotechnology/CPA program. I would like to thank all of my teachers and other staff that guided and supported me through my Grade 12 school year and helped me reach this milestone.Ishan
My eleven years at Sherwood Heights have been the most memorable years of my life. I joined this school when I was three years old and ever since, each day has been a fun-filled learning experience. I treasured the challenges that my teachers provided and looked forward to every opportunity: the Science Fair, the speech competitions, the Christmas Concert, and the field trips.
I have made many friends here whom I will miss as I move on to begin a new chapter in my life. I would like to thank all my teachers, who made such an impact on my life and have put me on the path to realize my goals and dreams. The torch of knowledge has been lit here and will shine brighter as I carry it forward through life. I will remember and miss you all.
Thank you Sherwood Heights for these wonderful years!

Looking back on my six years spent at Sherwood Heights, I realize how much change has occurred. Every year was different, and not one was the same as the other. I have had a wonderful time at this school and I would not change any of it.
I remember in grade three, walking into the classroom and looking at all the strange and unfamiliar faces. Only one face did I recognize. My teacher was so kind and caring, and she always worked towards making sure we all did our best. I did have some struggles, but they were soon sorted out.
Going on into grade four, our class was smaller, but there were some new people again as well. I made even more friends and still had a few struggles, but they did not faze me. Grade five was magnificent. I learned a lot and even started a new subject called Technology.
Then came grade six and seven. Both posed a bit of a challenge, but I got back up on my feet soon enough and I was soaring again. Grade eight was probably the best year ever. The funniest, most challenging, but most wondrous times so far. As I look back on my years at Sherwood Heights, I wonder: how does it seem like yesterday I was in grade three. That’s what memories do I guess.

I came to Sherwood Heights in grade 5, and since then I have had a wonderful experience. Sherwood Heights has given me an amazing academic experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. Not only has Sherwood Heights taught me to persevere, but it has also taught me to be a leader by having a positive influence towards my peers. I have made kind and heart-warming friends that I hope will be by my side in high school and in the later future. I remember that the idea of going to a new school scared me, but once I walked into Sherwood Heights, I remember thinking that this is the school I want to graduate from. There was something about it that made me feel comforted and the scared and nervous feeling I had faded away. I would like to thank my teachers who have shown so much dedication and have taught me to strive to achieve. Most of all, I would like to thank Mrs. Whitlock for teaching me skills that I will need later on in life and for teaching me the meaning of why it is important to have friends.

When I walked into the junior building of Sherwood Heights ten years ago, I had no idea what my future held. I would never have thought that I would be graduating with so many friends some from junior kindergarten. We endured the good and the bad times together, the good times – when we won a free pizza party or had fun on our many field trips, and the bad times – when someone I knew left the school or one of our classmates got injured.
Some of my favourite experiences that have happened in the past years were: participating in the spelling bee, winning the gym awards, playing on school sports teams, and being challenged every day in the classroom.
My experience at Sherwood Heights has been great, and I have made a lot of friends along the way. My great memories of Sherwood Heights will always be with me as I go through high school and for the rest of my life.

As I look back at my eleven years at Sherwood Heights, I realize that Sherwood Heights was a big part of my life. I’ve learned basic skills like math, grammar, and additional things like preparing for projects and saying speeches. My friends and teachers have always supported and encouraged me. I will never forget Sherwood Heights, my first unique learning experience.

I have been at Sherwood Heights for the past ten years and they have been great. I still remember the first time I walked into the school as a young child and remarked, “ Wow, this is going to be so much fun!” And indeed it was. The teachers throughout the years have been great, and because of them, class time never worried me. Their advice and great teaching have made me very knowledgeable. My friends have been amazing and have always been there for me. It has been sad to see some go, but it has been great to see new friends come. Overall my experience at Sherwood Heights has been wonderful, one that I will never forget, and one that will help me for the rest of my life.

As I reflect back on my years at Sherwood Heights, there have been many ups and downs, all of which were a learning experience. When I first came to Sherwood Heights, I was welcomed warmly by the kind staff. Immediately, I made friends and some of them are still with me today. I have learned so much at Sherwood Heights that I know I will be ready for high school and the life ahead of me. Confidence, Knowledge, and Excellence is Sherwood Heights’ motto and that is exactly what I’ve learned. Confidence in who I am, Knowledge to take with me in life, and striving for Excellence in my work. Now, as I look back on those years, I realize that I am going to miss all my friends, all the teachers, and all the staff, but I will always remember my first day here and how, right away, I felt part of the “ Sherwood Family.”

Some memories stay with you for life. For me, I know that I will always remember my time at Sherwood Heights. In class, I’ve been able to work to my full potential and I’ve learned a lot. My friends were always there to help me, and I was challenged to do my best. I know I can go on to high school, knowing that I am prepared to face whatever life throws my way.
My seven years at Sherwood Heights have been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned so much and I’ve had great experiences with my friends. There have been good times at Sherwood Heights as well as bad times, but through it all, my friends have been by my side.
In life, they say all good things come to an end. That’s definitely true. I know firsthand, because the ending of my years at Sherwood Heights is evidence of that.

I have been at Sherwood Heights School for ten years now. Those years have been just wonderful. I still do remember my first day at Sherwood Heights. As I walked in as a toddler, I didn’t know what to expect. I was instantly introduced to a setting in which I was comfortable in. My overall experience at Sherwood Heights has been great, even through my smiles and tears. At Sherwood Heights, I learned to present myself as a good student and to study properly. Over the years at Sherwood Heights, I have learned how to work independently and strive for what I wanted the most. All of my teachers, friends, and family have been there throughout the years to support me.
As I move on in life, I will always remember Sherwood Heights School. I will never forget about my teachers who stood by me throughout my years. I can never forget the great experience I had at Sherwood Heights.

Where do I start? Time flies when you are having fun and enjoying life with the ones you appreciate, thank, and love for always being by your side.
I came to this school eleven years ago where I was warm-heartedly welcomed by the children and the teachers. The exceptional environment made me feel right at home. The teachers, nevertheless, gave me a friendly feeling that you have at home.
As I think back to my childhood in Sherwood Heights everything put itself into place like pieces of a puzzle. Really it was a hard and challenging life that I really enjoyed in Sherwood Heights. I had my ups and downs, but I strived to be perfect.
I will always keep, close to my heart, the knowledge and moments I have gathered and cherished in both my life and my studies that will help me through my years in high school and beyond. Confidence, knowledge, and excellence are the school’s motto. I have used those true three words to help me achieve things that I desired to do.
It will be difficult leaving this school after spending so much of my life here. For those who have taught me so much I will never forget what you have done for me. However, once in everyone’s life someone has to let go of the school that gave so much.

I have been at Sherwood Heights for ten years. Those ten years have been wonderful. I have gone through my laughs and smiles, and even my tears and frowns, but overall the experience was worth it. I remember my first day of school. I walked in not knowing what to expect. I immediately was introduced to an environment that I felt comfortable in. Throughout my years I have not only learned about grammar and math, I learned how to study suitably, to do projects satisfactorily, and present myself as an honourable student. I also learned how to work independently and strive for what I wanted the most, and I was glad my teachers and parents were always there to encourage me. Sometimes it was not easy, but I realized that with support I could always manage.
As I move on with my life, I will always remember Sherwood Heights and what it has given me. I will never forget those who taught me and those who stood by me. I will always hold my years and experience at Sherwood Heights close to my heart.

I came to Sherwood Heights three years ago. I was accepted immediately by a great group of friends. It was hard, but as I look back, I realize how much I have gained in both knowledge and friendships. I’ve had great teachers to help me with my schoolwork, when I got discouraged, and guide me along the way to where I am today.
Sherwood Heights has been a splendid experience for me in my life, and I can say that I’ve gained a lot to help me through the years that have passed and for the years to come.

As I came down that walkway towards the entrance of Sherwood Heights School four years ago, I didn’t realize the new world I was letting myself into. At Sherwood Heights I was introduced to many new academic activities such as homework, exams, gym classes, and award ceremonies. I embraced these with a sort of interest and longing, viewing them as new challenges or goals, I had to reach. During my stay at this school, I made a lot of friends and learned some valuable experiences involving my school and social lives. I have to admit that going to this school was a great choice on my part. Life goes on, and I’m not going to say that I’ll miss Sherwood Heights, but rather my life has been enriched from going to this school.

This year has been wonderful. I have definitely had my high and low points, but overall it has been terrific. In five years that I’ve been here I have always felt comfortable around my fellow classmates, teachers, and staff. My parents have also been there to give me that extra push when needed.
The time I spent at Sherwood Heights School will always be with me and will help me in my future endeavours.
Sherwood Heights has taught me much more than multiplication facts and proper grammar. They have taught me to strive for my goals and never give up. They also taught me how important my education is and how it will help me throughout my life. The lessons I have learned here will always be with me, I will never forget Sherwood Heights.
